The 19th annual Burlington Irish Heritage Festival (BIHF) celebrates St. Patrick’s season by bringing you the best of Irish culture through music, dance and words. This year features the old favorites along with several innovative events that we think you will love. Our Festival is made possible largely thanks to close collaboration with our valued long-time partners, Young Tradition Vermont (Mark Sustic), The McFadden Academy of Irish Dance, and Fletcher Free Library; and new partners: the Vermont Genealogy Library and North End Studios.
Highlights include Concerts, Traditional Music Sessions, Lectures, Cultural Programs, Children's Activities, and Ceilis with the UVM Celtic Cats and our grand finale Festival Ceili with The McFadden Academy of Irish Dance. New this year are an Irish Genealogy Workshop at the Vermont Genealogy Library and "An Evening of Irish Cuisine and Culture" at North End Studios.
Visit our website www.burlingtonirishheritage.org (2014 Festival Schedule) for more detailed listings of events and to support The Festival by purchasing Raffle tickets (Grand Prize is free round-trip airfare for two to Ireland).
