Dear Danville Community,
Town Meeting Day is this Tuesday at 10am at the Danville School Gym. Copies of the Town Report are available at the Town Hall, Hastings Store and North Danville Community Building. The budget vote is by Australian ballot and polls will be open until 7pm in the gym.

If you have questions about the budget you will be voting on and want to meet the candidates running on TMD, I encourage you to come out to the North Danville Community Building on Monday night at 7pm.

I will be running for the 3 year seat on the Selectboard. 2018 was a busy year on the board and I'd like to help keep the momentum going. We passed a number of policies that I encourage you to review on the Ordinances and Policies page on the town's website. Of particular interest are the Winter Maintenance Policy, Tree Ordinance, Class 4 Road Policy and Emerald Ash Borer Plan.

Over the next 3 years I look forward to helping the town procure grants to help us restore and repurpose our historic Railroad Station, make recycling more accessible to our older and disabled citizens, and convert the property next to the Town Hall to a parking area. The town is fortunate to have a group of active volunteers on the Planning Commission, Conservation Commission and DRB and I'd like to continue to support their work as a returning Selectboard member. There is a growing interest in the establishment of a town energy committee that I would like to help foster. And finally, we've got a great team of town employees that keeps this town running seamlessly.
