Do you have a child age 6-9 who would like to see what it would be like to be on the Cochran's Ski Team? If so, please attend Cochran's Rippers and Racers Day. Come to the Cochran's Ski Area lodge to sign in and pick up a complementary day ticket. Check in starts at 9:30 am. Day tickets will be good for skiing all day, so plan to stay after the program and enjoy the snow.
The coaches and athletes in our U8 and U10 groups will show you what a little bit of training and racing is like on the slopes at Cochran's. Ski Club families will be on hand to answer questions about our Club and about alpine racing for kids.
Participants will need to have some basic ski skills and a desire to race, and be able to ride the T-bar. Kids will need their own skis, boots, poles and helmets; equipment rentals are available at Cochran's for additional cost.
