I am a candidate for the Berlin Select Board. Berlin Residents may vote for two of the three candidates (for a one-year seat on the Berlin Select Board) this year. Pre- Town Meeting is Monday, March 4, 2019 at 6:00 PM and is being held at the Berlin Elementary School. Town Meeting is Tuesday, March 5, 2019 (beginning at 10:00 AM; also at the Berlin Elementary School) and you may vote (by Australian Ballot) between the times of 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Please know that Town Reports for the year 2018 are available at the Town of Berlin Office. It is there that you may receive assistance, if you are not already a Berlin' registered voter. In order to handle this aspect, you may either stop by the Town Clerk's Office or register online at the following link:

In awareness that not everyone knows me, I want to share my information and encourage any and all folks to reach out to me. I am an open individual, who is caring, capable and committed. There is not one thing in my current abilities or my background I am not willing to express, should you be inclined to inquire. Running for the Berlin Select Board has interested me for years, but the time was not right for me to do so in the past; rather - now is perfect. Please also know, my campaign is paid for by myself and given I have never donated to an election campaign, I did not want anyone donate to mine. In fact, I believe it would be wonderful if expending money for campaigns were not necessary. Overall, I kept my spending to a minimum and all was worth it to bring to the forefront my combined willingness and desire to serve our community.
My career began in 1984, after achieving my Bachelor's Degree fresh out of High School. Nine years later, I acquired my Bachelor of Arts from Norwich University as an adult learner, while working full-time. Then, 24 years after that, in May, 2017, I achieved my Master of Science in Law Degree (also while working full-time), with a proud 3.697 cumulative GPA. These achievements accentuates my overall commitment. The ability to bring my extensive capabilities and experience will be a true asset while serving the Town of Berlin. I am certain I will become a fine member of the Berlin Select Board. Provided I receive sufficient votes to earn being on your Select Board, you can be assured I will be both accountable and dependable to the overall needs in my elected role.
I will be at the Berlin Elementary School (where my Husband and I will also vote) on Town Meeting Day. You are welcome to reach out to me, beforehand (plus I have a vacation day on Monday) and can even visit with you then or sometime this weekend. Let me provide any information you seek, prior to your vote this Tuesday. The time is now - I am poised to give valuable time to serve my community in this capacity.
