Dear Neighbors,
Penny and I invite you, our neighbor, to our home at 25 University Terrace, Saturday, March 2nd, 6 til 7:30 pm for a short time to enjoy some nibbles, drink, community building, and civil discourse with Richard Deane, who is running for re-election as East District City Councilor for Wards 1 and 8.
We have known Richard and his parents for 45 years but realized that we did not know all that he has been doing the past 2 years as our representative on the City Council in addition to promoting the bond to build a new Burlington High School. We thought we should be more informed and perhaps you do too.
We especially would like students to feel comfortable dropping by so that we can all get to know each other, building community relationships. We are interested in your ideas about our city.
I will also answer any questions you have about the School District budget on the ballot.
