The City of Winooski's Planning Commission has prepared a draft municipal plan update (Master Plan) for the City of Winooski that complies with, and includes information from, 24 VSA 117 §4302 related to statewide planning goals and 24 VSA 117 §4382 that identifies required planning elements. The Master Plan provides guidance to the community on the future use of resources and aligns with the Strategic Vision Statement. The Master Plan has been forwarded to the City Council for consideration of adoption.
The City Council will hold the second of two required hearings on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 6:15 PM to receive comments from the public regarding the proposed Master Plan. This meeting will take place at the Winooski City Hall located at 27 West Allen Street, Winooski, Vermont 05404. Following this hearing, the City Council may consider adoption of the proposed Master Plan. The draft plan and other related materials including the report from the Planning Commission can be viewed on our Master Plan Page or at City Hall during normal business hours:
