Town Meeting will begin at 9:00 AM Tuesday, March 5 at Copley Memorial Gymnasium at People's Academy. I would like to thank the voters of Morristown for electing me as your moderator over the last 17 years. I am not running for reelection. It has been an honor and privilege to serve as the moderator. Shap Smith has agreed to run for the office of moderator and I strongly recommend you vote for Shap. This will be a nice upgrade for the Town at this position.

The job as moderator is to facilitate the will of the voters. State law mandates that we use Roberts Rules unless we adopt some other rules. Since there obviously aren't any other rules we are governed procedurally by Roberts Rules.
