Shrove Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. Traditionally it is time to empty the cupboard of all the good stuff (butter & maple syrup). We do it to share the joy and wonder of doing life with such special neighbors in and around Greensboro, Vermont. Donations will be accepted, but they are neither required nor expected. All donations will support the food assistance program at Lakeview Union School. Come anytime between 5 and 7 pm and we will have a stack waiting for you. After discharging your civic duty at Town Meeting, is there a better way to end the day than with warm syrup, melting butter and hot pancakes?
