TOWN MEETING DAY REMINDER...TUESDAY, MARCH 5, 2019

Be a part of democracy at it's best! In the proud history of Vermont, the citizens of each town across the state have gathered together the first Tuesday in March for over 200 hundred years to make decisions regarding the budget and to elect local officials. Please plan to attend your town meeting. If you have not received notice, check with your town clerk for time and place. Our democracy works best when everyone participates.

FYI Newark residents: Town Meeting 2019 will be held in the Newark Street School. Notice (warning) was posted in Town of Newark 2018 Annual Report, beginning on page 12. Most folks opt to bring the report with them to the meeting to follow along. See you all next Tuesday at the meeting!
