The Town of Barre Community Dog Park is having a Calcutta/Silent Auction on Friday, April 5th starting at 6pm at the Barre City Elks Club. Tickets are $50, which includes dinner for two (family style spaghetti with gluten-free and vegetarian options) and a ball entered into the Calcutta - 100 balls in total to be sold. Grand Prize is $500 with some additional prizes throughout. The Silent Auction will be ongoing during the event and closes at the end of the Calcutta.
The dog park is donor-funded and volunteer-maintained and was established in large part to the monies raised from last year's Calcutta/Silent Auction. Our goal for this year's event will be to fund ongoing park maintenance and future projects, such as play/agility structures for the dogs, art projects utilizing the natural elements found in the park, a memorial bridge/bench focal area, storage for equipment and general landscape improvements.
Please contact David Rouleau at drouleau23@gmail.com if you would like to request a certain ball number (first come first served basis). Checks can be made to David Rouleau and mailed to 34 Goldsbury Woods Road, Barre VT 05641.
We hope to see you there!
