Handling money is an important skill for youth as they grow towards adulthood, but it's not one that's always taught. Join Vermont Adult Learning at the Teen Center in Middlebury for a 7-week series of workshops, where we pay youth to learn how to handle their money. David Roberts and Natalie Riegle from Vermont Adult Learning will be facilitating a 7-week series of financial literacy workshops for teens. For each workshop you complete, you receive $10 courtesy of a grant from the National Bank of Middlebury. If you complete all 6 workshops, you will receive a kicker of $15 extra dollars, totaling $75. The workshops will be every Tuesday beginning February 26 and ending April 9th. The seventh date, we will help all participants learn what it takes to set up their own bank account, if they do not already have one!
