What Places Do You Most Love in Middlebury?

Past event
Mar 14, 2019, 5 to 7 PM

Middlebury has a new Conservation Commission, formed to provide guidance for the town's future conservation work. Like any municipal entity, we represent the values of the community itself.

But to move forward most successfully with our work, we need a solid understanding of what you value. So we want to hear from YOU, our community, through an interactive process involving maps, markers, and small conversations among neighbors. Monica Przyperhart, of the Community Wildlife Program at Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department, will facilitate a process designed to recognize what it is, exactly, that makes Middlebury special to us, its residents.

For this event, you as a participant will get to decide what places you most appreciate. Each person's voice counts the same, and this process will work best if we have representation from a broad spectrum of Middlebury residents. Please make the time to come! If you're not there to represent your values, who can?

This event will be held TWICE:

Thursday March 14
5:00-7:00pm
Middlebury Town Offices

Sunday March 24
3:00-5:00pm
Sarah Partridge Community House
East Middlebury
