Disability Awareness Day bus trip to Montpelier
Disability Awareness Day takes place at the capital building in Montpelier this year on Wednesday, Feb 27, 2019. This is an opportunity for people with disabilities, their advocates and allies to talk directly with legislators about the issues that impact them. There are speeches, workshops, refreshments and camaraderie. It's a really fun day and a great way for people to make friends and get connected to the movement.

VCIL- Bennington will be providing an accessible bus for people who are interested in going. We leave the bus station on Pleasant Street at 9:00 am sharp and will return around 9:00 pm. (Bus and pizza lunch are free to folks who join us). We we also make a stop in Brattleboro to pick up some folks there before heading up.
