Morristown Conservation Commission invites winter recreationalists to learn about venturing into the backcountry next Thursday February 21st, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the 10 Railroad ST. Café. Greg Maino from the Catamount Trail Association will talk about backcountry skiing and snowboarding equipment, and how and when to choose the different options that are available. He'll also cover what to wear and what to pack whether headed out for a short pre-work tour or a full day adventure. This is a free community talk.
The Morristown Conservation Commission meets at the town offices on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and encourages interested parties to attend.
