The Community Seed Exchange at the Barton Public Library

The Community Seed Exchange (CSE) is opening for the 2019 gardening season on March 2, 2019 from 10-12 at the Barton Public Library, 100 Church St., Barton, VT. A variety of open-pollinated and heirloom seeds are available for home gardeners and homesteaders and a variety of information will be available about gardening topics, as well as grafting, composting, and beekeeping. The CSE is free and open to the public and was created to support local gardeners and bring together a community of interested folks around gardening topics. The CSE is open during library hours – Mon. 10 AM - 6 PM, Wed. 10 AM -6 PM, Fri. 10 AM - 6 PM (winter hours) and Sat. mornings in the summer. There are also "Seedlings" in other locations in the Northeast Kingdom.
