Hello, neighbors! We have a City Council meeting tomorrow, Wednesday 2/13. Though winter is expected to have another tantrum tonight into tomorrow, the municipal show must go on. I understand that the last thing you might want to do is head over to City Hall during a storm. Fear not, you can watch the meeting on our website, on ORCA's YouTube channel, or on TV. Picture this: 6:15 PM comes around. You put on your pajamas, put the kettle on, and put your favorite tea in your favorite mug (for me it's Tung Ting oolong in a blue/green/purplish mug made by the mom of one of my husband's students). While waiting for the water to boil, set up your laptop and open up to the Council meeting. When the water is hot and the tea has steeped, take the laptop to your couch, surround yourself in a comfy throw, feel the warmth from the mug on your hands and settle in to learn about our city.
