REVIEW ROBERTS RULES OF ORDER TO FOLLOW AND PARTICIPATE WHAT'S HAPPENING AT TOWN MEETING.
Come to Williamsville Hall on Sunday, March 3 at 4 pm for a Review of Roberts Rules of Order.
We'll go over the most commonly used procedures and maybe some of the arcane ones as well.
By the end of the hour, you'll know be able to make a motion, second it, speak to it, amend it, and challenge the Moderator.
You'll learn the difference between a voice vote, a division of the house and a paper ballot – and how, when and why to request each.
Maybe you've always wanted to know the difference between a point of information and a point of order: Here's your chance!
When can you interrupt? When can you call for a reconsideration - and revote - of a question?
What's the difference between a Motion to Recess and a Motion to Adjourn? How many votes do you need to do either?
All this and more!
Come to Williamsville Hall on Sunday, March 3 at 4 pm for a rollicking good time with Roberts Rules!

All interested are welcome, from Newfane and beyond.
