The Lions Club of Essex Jct. will be collecting food for the Heavenly Pantry of Essex to benefit families with food insecurity. With help from Scouts BSA troop 635 and Cub Scout pack 635 the Lions will be set up outside of Big Lots, Mac's Market, and Kinney Drugs asking for donations of food and household items. This is a difficult time of year for the food pantry, as holiday gifts have run out, while the need has not lessened. Donations will be taken at each of these three locations from 9am to 3pm Saturday. Thank you for helping the Heavenly Pantry and the Lions.
