"I visited Uganda in the summer of 2018. The main objectives of the trip were the National Parks in the West and especially the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Uganda is a country with many more natural attractions but also in most areas densely populated. Its history is entangled with the end of colonial regimes and the following struggles with establishing a society independent from European rulers. During my trip I had the opportunity to learn about some of these topics and I will share these experiences together with the fantastic nature I was able to photograph."
