The Tinmouth Motley writers will host our Tinmouth Mountain School Principal Maureen Fitzgerald-Riker on Sunday the 10th at The Tinmouth Library (behind the Town Office) as part of our ongoing Writers-In-Our-Midst series. Maureen will workshop us from 1:30 to 2:30 P.M. and she'll present from 2:30 to 3:30 P.M. Come and write with us if you like or show up at 2:30 for her presentation. The subject of the afternoon will be our journey as writers. She says of her own writing, "I began teaching in inner city schools in Denver, CO. My students were primarily second language learners and immigrants with unique stories to share. Teaching writing within this context was how I discovered my own voice."
