One of the highlights of February in Vermont for me is the NOFA-Vermont winter conference, now extending over three days at UVM, Feb. 16-18. We'll get a preview from some people behind the conference and who will be presenting at the conference, including conference coordinator Megan Browning, herbalist Guido Masé, keynote speaker Leah Penniman, Butterworks farmer Jack Lazor, and Ellie Searles, a young farmer from the Northeast Kingdom preparing to return to the NEK to dairy farm after she finishes at UVM.

10:00 - 10:30 am
Resilience Thoughts, a locally told Extempo story, plus upcoming events related to energy, food, and the local economy at the end of the age of oil.
