The Artist In Residence Gallery at 10 S. Main St in St. Albans invites you to our monthly Featured Artists Reception on Thursday, February 7th, 2019 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The Gallery is the setting for the beautiful work of 40 outstanding Vermont artists in a wide range of mediums with prices. Each month our artists gather to socialize with our visitors and our featured artist give a brief presentation about their work. Light refreshments and pleasant conversation are available.
The featured artists for the month of February are Rebecca Chomyn, Terry Rice, Claire Graham -Smith and Longina Smolinski.
Rebecca Nase Chomyn has studied and worked as a metal sculptor for a number of years. Her free-flowing, organic pieces demonstrate her ability to replicate nature, one unique piece at a time. Rebecca is one of February's featured artists at the Artist In Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
Terry Rice strives to convey nature, memory, and self-reflection in her fantasy acrylic portraits. Lakeshore finds of battered wood, gnarly roots, and cottonwood bark are her materials. Terry is one of February's featured artists at the Artist In Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
Claire Graham-Smith uses fabrics from far and wide to create her improvisational-style quilts. She adds creative embellishments, beads, and hand embroidery to each piece. Claire is one of February's featured artists at the Artist In Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
