Capital City Concerts "Heart & Soul"

Capital City Concerts presents "Heart & Soul" on Sunday, February 17 at 3PM at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier. After bringing down the house last season with his powerful performance of the Bach Cello Suite in G major, Edward Arron returns with wife, pianist Jeewon Park, violinist Theodore Arm, and flutist Karen Kevra for Valentine's weekend. On the program is one of Astor Piazzolla's greatest works, his sultry Grand Tango for cello and piano, as well as Massenet's Meditation from Thaïs for violin and piano, Camille Saint-Saëns' The Swan (from The Carnival of the Animals) for cello and piano, and his Romance for flute and piano, plus Brahms masterpiece, Trio No. 1, Op. 8 in B major. Complimentary sweets will be prepared by Chef Andre Burnier a member of the Mâitres Cuisiniers de France, a prestigious French culinary society. He will be using the exotic spices of Terra Spice.
