We tried to do this two weeks ago, but the weather did not co-operate! We are hoping for a better day this coming Thursday, February 7, at the Kellogg Hubbard Library from 10:00 to 11:00.
This New Vermonters gathering is for anyone new to Vermont, particularly those from other countries, who might like a chance to talk with others about their experience. If the interest is there, we will make it a regular event; tea and cider and snacks will be available, as well as books and toys for kids attending with parents. Representatives from each of the sponsoring organizations will be present, ready to facilitate if necessary and answer questions. Those organizations are Central Vermont Refugee Action Network, Central Vermont Adult Basic Education, and Kellogg Hubbard Library.
