An Announcement Pertaining to Life

We at the Middletown Springs Community Church are for life, meaning we are uncompromisingly committed to the preservation and nurturing of human life in all forms and stages from the womb to the tomb. We consider life to be sanctified and created in the likeness of God. Life in a mother's womb is a human being created in God's image with a soul that God knows and for whom He has a plan. So for us, this is not a political issue, it is a biblical mandate. In this regard, we are candidly opposed to the H.57 bill recently introduced in the Vermont State Legislature. As a biblical response to this bill, the church is organizing a Candle Light Silent Prayer Vigil on the Middletown Springs Church Green. Why silent? Because we are praying for the voices that will never get the opportunity to speak for themselves, lives that will not have independent rights should this bill become law. Everyone who feels led to, please come!

Where? Middletown Springs Church Green
