Need some inspiration to get your seeds started this spring? Come join VT Food Swap and Mad River Localvores for a seed starting workshop and food swap at the Waterbury Congregational Church this Sunday, March 9th, at 3pm. Grow Compost is our special guest and is going to teach us all about starting seeds. We're going to get our hands dirty and play in some dirt, start some of our own seeds, and go home with some awesome food!

We'll start off with the first part of the food swap and give everyone a chance to sample and view all the goodies up for swapping. Then Grow will show us lots of different ways to get your seeds started, share growing tips and advice, and let us all play with seeds and their amazing soils. After that we'll wrap it up with the food swap where you can swap your homemade items. There is always a ton of great food to swap!
