It's estimated that more than 7000* dogs live in the City with only one (1) designated off-leash dog park located at Farrell Park on Swift Street. Much like South Burlington's human population growth, it's expected that the number of dogs will continue to increase. So, City Council has formed a Dog Park Committee to identify locations for dog parks and to determine the amenities that dog owners desire.
This forum will be a listening session to hear what the community's needs and priorities are for current and future dog parks. The input gathered will inform the Committee as it prepares recommendations for the City Council.
