The next event in GCWLN's Pollinator Series is a presentation by John and Nancy Hayden entitled: "Farming and Gardening on the Wild Side: Benefits of Biodiversity." John and Nancy own and operate The Farm Between in Jeffersonville, VT, where they practice ecological regenerative agriculture. Maintaining a pollinator sanctuary with floral, nesting, and overwintering habitat is a high priority on their farm. They will discuss their experience creating pollinator habitat, using beneficial insects for pest management, wildlife conservation, and resilience.
Join us at 7:00pm on Tuesday, February 5th at the Cabot Public Library (3084 Main Street) for this presentation, followed by questions and discussion. Light refreshments will be provided. In the case of adverse weather, the event will be postponed until Thursday, February 7th. This event is free and open to the public.
