Genealogy and Slavery – Research and Discussion
Are you researching ancestors in your family who were slaveholders or were enslaved? You are invited and welcome to the first monthly "meet-up" of people interested in this topic on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at 4:30 pm (ending just before 6) at the North Branch Café, 41 State Street, Montpelier in their small Library room. This will be a time to share experiences and resources. It will also be a time to talk about the emotional challenges of this research and ways to address difficult parts of our family stories that are very relevant in these times.
