Come be inspired!
Please join us for lunch on Wednesday, February 6th at 12PM and the first in a series of four film and discussion events surrounding Memory Loss, and ways in which the Creative Arts (Art, Movement/Dance, Music & Writing) can be a source of joy and expression for those living with Memory Loss/cognitive challenges.

The film screening is "I Remember Better When I Paint" with presentation and Q&A following with guest speaker Resident Engagement Director, and professional artist Courtney Allenson.

The film was the first international documentary about the positive impact of art and other creative therapies on people with Alzheimer's and how these approaches can change the way we look at the disease. The film is narrated by Olivia de Havilland. Among those featured are noted doctors and Yasmin Aga Khan, president of Alzheimer's Disease International and daughter of Rita Hayworth, who had Alzheimer's.

Courtney will share artwork made by residents of our Reflections Memory Care neighborhood, and share insights she has gleaned during her weekly Art Workshops with people living with Memory Loss.
Event is free, but space is limited. Fully accessible.
RSVP by Monday, February 4th to Suzanne Bennett, sbennett@residenceottercreek.com, 802.377.3393
