Building Equality with an Inclusive Equal Rights Amendment for Vermont

Speakers will include Senator Ginny Lyons, sponsor for the proposed amendment to Vermont's Constitution; Cary Brown, Executive Director, Vermont Commission on Women; Michelle Farkas, Esq., Gravel and Shea law firm, who served on the initial committee that developed the Equal Rights Amendment resolution in 2018 (S.R. 11); and Ella Spotswood, Deputy Attorney General, Vermont Attorney General's Office, who has worked on drafting the proposed amendment to be introduced in the 2019 Legislative Session. Planned Parenthood of Northern New England has also been invited.
