AFRICA NIGHT, Saturday March 8 at 5:30 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church on route 2A in Essex Junction – at Gate F of the Champlain Valley Fairgrounds. Open to all, this evening is a fundraiser for the Sudanese Development Fund (SUDEF), supporting two health clinics in South Sudan, where intense fighting has broken out in recent weeks. The evening includes an African dinner, SUDEF slideshow and update, children’s program and entertainment by Jeh-Kulu Dance and Drum Theater. Admission by donation.
