FIRE DEPARTMENT VOLUNTEERS TO HOST PANCAKE BREAKFAST MARCH 9th IN WEST PAWLET, VERMONT, By Janice B. Edwards, Freelance Writer
The West Pawlet (Vt) Volunteer Fire Department will host a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, March 9th. Breakfast is served at the West Pawlet fire house from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome.
The breakfast menu includes pancakes of several varieties including regular, chocolate chip, blueberry and cranberry. Waffles, scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage and bacon are also available. Coffee, milk and orange juice are also available. Prices are $7.00 for 12 years and up, $5.00 for 5-12 years and free to children under the age of 5 years. Breakfast profits are dedicated for the department’s equipment and training needs. The department is a non-profit. Donations are appreciated and will also be gratefully received.
The West Pawlet fire house, located on Route 153 (Main Street), is a handicap accessible site. New members are welcome.
