United Counseling Service (UCS) is proud to present the film Becoming Bulletproof, followed by a Q&A with Dawn Danner, Director of Developmental Services at UCS on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 6:00pm at the Oldcastle Theatre in Bennington, Vermont.
Becoming Bulletproof documents the making of an original Western film called, Bulletproof. Bulletproof features actors with and without disabilities who meet every year at Vermont based, Zeno Mountain Farm (ZMF) to write, produce, and star in original short films. Founded by two brothers and their wives, Zeno Mountain Farm's philosophy is to create a truly inclusive community that builds genuine friendships that transcend stigma and stereotypes. For them, their films aren't about making a statement; "It's all about making awesome movies."
"We are excited to share this inspirational film with the community," said Lorna Mattern, Executive Director of United Counseling Service. "Becoming Bulletproof offers a transformative look at the way people with disabilities are viewed, treated and supported in our society."
