The Lewis Creek Association is hosting a film called Toxic Puzzle on Jan. 31st at the Charlotte Senior Center at 6:45pm.
The film, narrrated by Harrison Ford, follows scientist Dr. Paul Cox and his team as they investigate whether there are connections between the toxins produced by blue-green algae and diseases like ALS, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. A discussion featuring a panel of UVM researchers who are also exploring links between algal blooms and human health in Vermont will follow. Refreshments will be served.
