Upcoming BALE Resilience University Workshop
January 26th 2019, 1:00 PM at the BALE Commons in South Royalton VT.
Beekeeping has a 9,000 year history with mankind. We should all give them hearty thanks because without bees we would have ceased to exist long ago. Humans eat their honey, use their wax, and rely on bees to help our food grow, benefiting us all.
It has been estimated that bees are responsible for pollinating nearly 85% of all food crops for humans, as well as numerous crops that grow the food fed to cattle.
Sheri Englert and Vermont Beekeeping Supply will mentor folks who want to be good stewards in the art & craft of beekeeping. "I have been a beekeeper for about 20 years and I am still amazed at all the things there are to learn with every changing season".
This workshop is designed to give you more insight and information about Honey Bees and what you can do to be good stewards to ensure their existence.
Donations for these workshops are accepted of course but the workshop is open to all comers. A hot soup and bread will be served.
