During Valentines's Day, while we celebrate all the ways love can be wonderful - supportive - energy giving - and kind - we also honor those who have experienced harm within their relationships. As such, proceeds from this event will benefit Umbrella's Advocacy Program which supports survivors of domestic and sexual violence in the Northeast Kingdom.

Join Sally Wilson at Bread&Butter for an afternoon making molded chocolate, hand formed truffles, and ganache squares. Sally graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a culinary degree. Sally with her husband Tim owned and operated the Norwich Inn for sixteen years. Sally is committed to community and managed the Hanover Farmers Market for ten years. At present, Sally counsels for SCORE under the umbrella of the Small Business Assoc. She is focused on food and beverage properties in the Upper Valley Region; from Claremont to Groton. She is a Ryegate Lister, treasure of the Blue Mountain Grange and the Ticklenaked Pond Assoc. In her spare time she enjoys cooking in the Cedar Circle kitchen as well as her own.

Umbrella is working hard to decrease domestic and sexual violence and to ensure that children thrive in safe communities. Amanda Cochrane, the Executive Director of Umbrella will be on hand to discuss how domestic and sexual violence impacts our community.

Everyone will leave with a box of chocolates.
