"Much after a beginning is difficult, as everybody knows who has crossed the sea,
and as for the first step a (wo)man never so much as remembers it...
...The first step is undertaken lightly, pleasantly, and with your soul in the sky;
it is the five-hundredth that counts."
~ Hilaire Belloc

May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
may the clarity of light be yours,
may the fluency of the ocean be yours,
may the protection of the ancestors be yours.
And so may a slow
wind work these words
of love around you,
an invisible cloak
to mind your life.

BIO: Meghann Cancio-Bello, CYT
Meghann is a CYI and currently taking her 500 hour teacher training course with Yoga Vermont. She first began the practice of Yoga in the year 2000 during the pregnancy of her first child. It was then she discovered the nurturing effects it had on the mind, body and spirit. It was powerful to realize that through using the physical body and breath one could reach deep levels of peace and relaxation of the mind. Through compassion she strives to create a space in which students feel safe and supported to explore and deepen their own individual practices while still joining in the spirit of community.
