I will attach their story, but first let me tell you mine. My Mother passed away from ALS in 2012, it is an absolute insidious disease, with no cure. You live daily eventually losing all muscular abilities, however your mind stays sharp. If you do not know of this disease, look it up, read about it, it is absolutely terrible. The couple and their 3-year old little boy, live in Barre Town, the Father was diagnosed in 2011, shortly after the little guy's birth. They are doing a fund-raiser on 3/16/14 at the Corner Stone Pub in Barre, Vermont. They will be accepting donations (any kind), up until this date, there will be a live as well as silent auction for them, the silent one will be posted on-line, live will be at the Corner Stone Pub. I ask that you donate something for this cause, it can be monetary, an item i.e., painting, image, service(s), gift certificate, something you make, something you love. The family is a lovely family, the wife is originally from Barre, Vermont, and I so want to help these people. I will be providing photography services to them for the next 2 weeks, and hopes to have them ready for the fund-raiser. I would appreciate any/all donations of any kind, I will gladly pick them up, or you may drop them to my home here in Plainfield, Vt. This is an incurable disease, an awful disease, and at the age of 38, with a little 3-year old baby, it is truly sad. I ask you to donate, reach into your pockets, do whatever you possibly can, these folks are in for a ride, just so you know, the money/items raised will go towards a machine that will help the Father use his eyes to talk, so yes, eventually they lose their ability to talk. Thank-you all, Andrea Carbonneau - PLEASE check out their website at www.MIGHTY-QUINN.ORG, read their story, support their cause. I thank-you all from the bottom of my heart, I miss my Mother everyday, she died the day after Christmas 2012, she is at peace. Peace to you all.
