CPR saves lives!! In the event of an unresponsive, non-breathing event, timely administration of heart compressions can keep the blood flow through the body, and to the brain, increasing the chances of a person's survival.

On February 2, hourly from 9am to 3pm, the Hinesburg Fire Department will be holding a free, drop in, compression only CPR clinic for the community. In an hour or less, you can learn to determine if someone has stopped breathing, has no pulse and administer heart compressions until EMT's arrive.

We are putting a challenge out to our community for as many residents as possible to come learn this life saving technique.
