Hello! I want to let you know about a fundraiser that I am hosting along with some other students at MMU who are passionate about music! We have several cabarets every year featuring student performances which are always open to the community. We are hoping that this event, in particular, can be an opportunity for our community to come together and share our love for music, while helping others.

Entrance is by donation and all proceeds will benefit Musicians Without Borders, a nonprofit organization which runs programs around the world to heal the scars of war and build trust and unity in divided communities through music education. Some examples of programs they are running are:
- Music therapy sessions with marginalized and targeted Palestinian and Israeli children
- Music performance programs in Mitrovica, Kosovo (the most divided city in Europe) to teach inclusivity
- Music Bridge in Northern Ireland to bring together Catholic and Protestant youth
- Training music therapists and workshop leaders in rural communities in Rwanda
- Music workshops in refugee reception centers across Europe to build trust and heal trauma

There will be refreshments and student performances in the library at Mount Mansfield Union High School from 7:15 - 9:15 on Friday, January 25th. Help us use our voices to spread love, peace, tolerance, and global change! Hope to see you there!
