Everyone is encouraged to attend our second community conversation on institutional racism and white privilege, scheduled for 1/27/19, 3-5 pm. Debby Irving, whose book, Waking Up White, is available at the Vermont Book Shop and the Ilsley Library, is so excited to return to do more in-depth work with us. This workshop is called "Leveling the Playing Field: Interrupting Patterns of Privilege." Although this is the second of a 2-part conversation, attendance at the first is not necessary for the second. We hope everyone will have read the book, although the Vermont Book Shop will be there with more books to sell, and Debby will be signing books at the end of the event.
