The St. Johnsbury Band will start rehearsing for its 189th season this coming Monday evening. All that is required is basic music reading skills and a concert type instrument. We play a mix of show tunes, marches and general concert music. Our greatest needs are for a bassoon, trumpets, an xylophone and woodwinds but all concert type instruments are welcome. The ages of the band members range from teenagers to senior citizens. Our performance schedule will include weekly concerts at the bandstand in Court House Park this summer and a few special events out of town.
