Thursday's predicted to extend our string of magnificent sunny weather one more day. I plan to hike to Taylor Lodge with a thermos of tea and bask in noonday rays; anyone thinking that sounds like fun is welcome. It's not a formal outing, no one's in charge, but my plan is a sedate stroll up and back. Bring good snowshoes & poles, a change of clothes, any emergency/1st aide gear you think prudent (I always bring rope, strong headlamp and a couple fire sources, just in case), and a cheerful disposition. Limited parking makes carpooling thoughtful; I recommend avoiding upper Stevensville Road if you only have 2-wheel-drive (though I don't and do). Meet on the front steps of Underhill's Town Hall 10:00 Thursday 17 January 2019. It'll be cold.
