Ever wonder if your home is making you sick? Cold, damp homes exacerbate chronic health conditions like COPD, asthma, and other respiratory illnesses. Chemicals used for cleaning, toxins generated while cooking, and off-gassing from furnishings can create a soup of unhealthy pollutants in homes.
Come to an informal workshop to learn about Eff. Vt.'s "Healthy Homes Vermont" pilot collaboration with hospitals to pinpoint and remedy unhealthy air conditions. Learn how energy efficiency can help improve the indoor environmental quality of your home. Low and no-cost remedies will be provided in addition to guidance for those who wish to dive deeper on improving their home's indoor environmental quality.
The workshop will be on Wed., 1/23, 7 - 8:30 PM, at the Craftsbury Public Library. It is co-sponsored by the Craftsbury Energy Committee and Efficiency Vermont.
