Come join us for a morning ramble on snowshoes at Round Pond Natural Area. We'll enjoy the quiet woods, fields, and make our way down to the beautiful lake Champlain shoreline. Join us afterwards at the South Hero Library for hot apple cider and healthy snacks.
This family friendly hike is about 1 mile round trip, relatively flat, with one short steep section to get down to the beach. Great for kids and people of all ages. If you want to know more about accessibility/ hike difficulty or snowshoes, no worries! Give us a call or email and we'd be happy to talk with you.
We have snowshoes (kids snowshoes included) you can rent for free via the South Hero Library. If the snow conditions aren't good for a snowshoe, we'll make it a winter hike. Either way it'll be a great time!
If you want to RSVP, reserve snowshoes, or if you have any questions about the event, please Call 372-3786 or email guy@shlt.org. You can also visit shlt.org/events.
Thank you to the South Hero Library and RISE VT for partnering with SHLT on this event - Hope to see you there.
