Bully: A Family Discussion

On average in the Lamoille Valley 1 in 5 high school students and 1 in 4 middle school students report being bullied in the last 30 days. Bullying is impacting our kids, schools, and communities. It is time to come together to reduce these numbers and help our kids feel safe. Join us on Tuesday, January 15th from 5:30-7:00 at Green Mountain Technology and Career Center in Hyde Park as we seek to share information on what is currently being done to prevent bullying in our region and how you can help!

Light refreshments will be served. Childcare is available upon request for chidren 10 and under - They will be watching the Movie: Ant Bully and parents will receive a short discussion guide on the film.

Heather Hobart, Executive Director, Lamoille Restorative Center
Ryan Bjerke, Building Manager, Craftsbury Academy - Ryan has extensive law enforcement experience and work with electronic bullying.
Donna Sherlaw, Member of Standing Committee, Parent/Child Rep. Lamoille County with Vermont Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health
Jessica Bickford, Coordinator of Healthy Lamoille Valley, will be facilitating the evening.
