Turning Point Center Grand Opening!

The Turning Point Center of Chittenden County wants you to join them on January 15th at 11am when they celebrate the opening of their new, vastly expanded facility at 179 S. Winooski Ave. in Burlington.

The public is invited to take a tour of the Center between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Agenda includes: 11am- Front door ribbon cutting and 11:15-11:30am- Welcome and Guest Speakers including Mayor Miro Weinberger and Health Commissioner Dr. Mark Levine. Light fare and refreshments provided.

Come see how they have grown- their new location is 60% larger than their former home on Bank Street and features activity rooms, an art studio, expanded office space and a large open area for daily peer support activities.

Turning Point Center of Chittenden County is now in its 15th year of operation and is dedicated to supporting individuals and their families who have experienced an addition to alcohol and/or drugs and are now in recovery.

The Center is open every day of the year. Each month, the Center experiences nearly 3,000 visits by people in recovery. The Center hosts more than 200 meetings of different kinds, ranging from 12-step programs to alternative health activities including yoga, Acudetox, Reiki, art classes and New Moms in Recovery.
