Food Drive Extra Important with Government Shut Down

Past event
Jan 14, 2019, 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Due to the prolonged government shut down, many people who depend upon food stamps as well as federally funded feeding programs will not receiving funds soon. No funds = no food. Please consider making a donation to our local food shelf, Meals on Wheels, and other similar food programs. They all exist on a wing and a prayer, this shut down is extremely compromising and challenging for those who are food insecure, especially children and the elderly.

We will host a food drive this coming Monday 1/14 at the Body Lounge and In Company Clothing from 10:30-5:30. Also at Stowe Elementary and Stowe High School from 8:00 - 3:00 p.m. Please drop off non-perishable donations and we will get them to the Lamoille Community Food Share and other agencies that need our support right now.
