Hello friends and neighbors.
This Saturday come have supper with your neighbors and dance the evening away at our good old fashioned contra dance. We dance at the Caledonia Grange #9 on church street in EAST Hardwick at 6:30 with a potluck at 5:30.
You don't need to bring a partner or knowledge of fancy dance moves. Every dance is taught and we've got plenty of people to dance with.
Peter Johnson of the Mad Robin callers collective joins us this month to teach and call the dances. Amazing live tunes by American Toad and friends.
Dancing is a great way to relieve any residual town meeting stress or hard feelings and smooth every ruffled feather. We welcome dancers of every political stripe!
Optimism prompts me to remind you to bring clean shoes so you can leave your MUDBOOTS at the door. Feel free to ease your carbon footprint by brining your own plats and utensils for the potluck. We'll still dance with you, though, if you take a paper plate.
Admission is by sliding scale donation of $5-$25.
